Sitting at the Saroca Table
On May 7, 2025, a beautiful breeze complimented an incredible sunset as it washed over Naar Restobar in Sliema, Malta. The second annual Saroca Leadership Dinner, which started in 2024 as a celebration of our inaugural LeadHERship program has grown into something deeper — a soulful, authentic, and powerful reunion of past and present participants of Saroca’s Transformational Leadership Program.
More than just a dinner, this annual event has become a ritual of recognition — for the courage it takes to lead differently, to grow with intention, and to support one another through the complexities of the gaming industry. Alumni and current participants alike joined, creating an energy that was electric yet grounded, full of real conversation, mutual admiration, and a shared sense of mission.
In 2024, we launched LeadHERship, a leadership development program tailored for women navigating leadership in gaming. The results were extraordinary: an NPS of 90, a resounding vote of confidence from our participants, and tangible growth across every core leadership metric we tracked. Confidence, resilience, feedback fluency, and imposter syndrome all showed measurable improvements.
Participants didn’t just learn new skills — they formed lasting bonds, gained clarity, and found the courage to make real change. Some launched consultancies. One was nominated for the Patty Becker Award. Others transitioned confidently into new roles, armed with fresh tools and a renewed sense of self-worth.
As the program evolved, so did we. In 2025, LeadHERship became the Transformational Leadership Program, now proudly open to all genders. The heart of the program remains the same: deeply human, courageously honest, and rigorously developmental — built for the real-world pressures of leadership in the iGaming space.
What Makes It Transformational?
Over four months, the program blends deep coaching with eight high-impact group sessions. Participants walk away with concrete tools, self-awareness, and a personalized growth journey — tracked through our custom Kaizen Tracker and anchored by individualized coaching. It’s not theoretical. It’s not cookie-cutter. It’s transformational because it meets people where they are and walks with them to where they need to go.
And while we’re proud of the curriculum, what really sets Saroca’s program apart is the culture. As one alum put it, “The feeling of safe space and belonging is irreplaceable.” Another said, “It was more than I ever expected. We grew together, shared experiences, and learned from each other.”
This isn’t leadership as performance. This is leadership as presence, accountability, and purpose.
If the Transformational Leadership Program is the journey, the Saroca Leadership Dinner is the annual homecoming. Our first dinner at Sale e Pepe in 2024 was intimate, heartfelt, and electric with possibility. The 2025 edition at Naar Restobar took that energy and amplified it — the room pulsed with warmth, pride, and a sense that something bigger than a program is unfolding.
We don’t host these dinners to sell. We host them to celebrate — the hard-won personal growth of our alumni, the courage of our current cohort, and the supportive, wise community that’s growing around this work. We’ll be back in 2026, in another stunning setting, to do it all again. And we expect the table to be even bigger.
At Saroca, we believe leadership isn’t just about outcomes. It’s about how we get there — and who we become along the way. Our Transformational Leadership Program is part of a broader movement to redefine what strong leadership looks like in gaming: more human, more emotionally intelligent, and more sustainable.
