AGS Recap

It was G2E 2025 when GGW Board Member and Executive Ascent alum Brandi Ellis introduced me to Adam Whitehurst, SVP of Slots Revenue at AGS. We connected at the fabulous GGW Retreat and hit it off immediately. I could tell right away Adam is a human-first leader with zero tolerance for fluff when it comes to productivity and results. My kind of leader, one who understands you don’t have to sacrifice performance to be empathetic or to create psychological safety on a team.
So when Adam asked if I’d consider being the Keynote Speaker for their All Sales Kickoff in January 2026, it was an easy yes.
Earlier this week, I was back in Vegas (after only four days at home post-ICE Barcelona) delivering a keynote on the distinctions between being vs doing and commitments vs intentions. The team didn’t just listen, they worked the concepts, translating them into real applications to support their growth, development, and of course, their 2026 targets.
It was a true honour to work with the AGS sales team in this way. We even wrapped with a bonding exercise that pushed comfort zones and built real camaraderie. I’m told they were talking about it for the rest of the day.
I also loved touring the showroom and seeing the slot machines and games launching this year. So much innovation coming through.
Big thank you to Adam, Mary Beth, and the entire AGS crew. Grateful, as always, to contribute to teams in the way Saroca does.
